I think i can speak for everyone when I say i am glad this tier is over. It was a long road with many ups and downs and we saw many guilds fall apart in the process. Like most other guilds we had our fair share of issues as well but in the end we managed to pull together and secure a U.S. 4th Blackhand. I would like to thank everyone who stuck it out when we hit a few bumps in the road and I think it says alot about our guild as a whole. Throughout the duration of tier 17 we encountered quite a few memorable bosses and while the tier did have its issues it was a satisfying one for the most part.
Overall, this tier was a success for us and finished as the top evening-only US guild. We plan on improving as we move forward into the next tier of mythic content. As always are recruiting passionate raiders who have the right attitude.
After almost two weeks of raiding with many ups and downs we are happy to announce that Mythic Highmaul is finally complete! Overall, Highmaul was an excellent raid with a few memorable encounters with the highlight being Imperator Mar'gok. After two nights of being so close to a kill this boss started to take it's toll on everyone in the raid due to the duration of the encounter and near perfect play required for much of the fight. On our final pull Monday night we managed to pull it together and secure a US 5th kill in a very competitive tier (Oceanic master race).
I am very proud of the guild as a whole for what we accomplished in Highmaul. It was our first and possibly only go at 7-days-a-week and we did exactly what we set out to do which was finish the raid prior to Christmas break. I would also like to thank everyone for putting in the extra time I know a lot of people had to make sacrifices for this to work out. It doesn't get much better for the time we put in and that is something we should all be proud of.
We're looking forward to finishing out this content patch strong with the Blackrock Foundry raid. If you're reading this and you're not a member of our raid team consider throwing up an application. All we're looking for is people who are as passionate about Mythic Raiding as we are.
The tier and what could very well be the expansion has
finally come to a close once again for Duality. We once again managed to finish the tier off strong with a US 3rd
and World 11th ranking. Even
though this tier was easy I believe that Duality did really well for the amount
of time we dedicate to this game. Besides
the hour long "head start” that we took advantage of, Duality stuck by their advertised
raiding schedule. Needless to say, there
is a sense of accomplishment when you know you have what it takes to compete at
a high level and raid our hours.
It seems like just yesterday that Duality was "practicing”
for Mists of Pandaria by doing Dragon Soul "No Buff” clears every week. Our goal, at the time, was to "possibly”
attain a top 20 US ranking. Little did
we know that Duality was heading straight to the top. I don’t think that anyone that was part of
our roster when Mists of Pandaria launched would have thought we’d be
struggling for top world rankings, but I believe that all the hard work and
dedication paid off in the end.
Currently, we are as strong as ever and already looking
forward to next tier. Our goal of
attaining a Top 10 world ranking will be our number one priority. Duality is looking forward to the future while
learning from the past. We are also
going to be recruiting "smart” and "talented” players for next expansion; even
if your class is not listed on our website, feel free to submit an application.
A guild is not a guild without its members and a raid is
not a raid without raiders. With that
being said, we would like to thank everyone that was and is a part of Duality. Without you guys we wouldn’t be where we are
